Mountain Iron Planning and Zoning Commission

August 13, 2018

Meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Chairman Steve Skogman.

Those Present: Jim Techar, Steve Erickson, Tim Johnston, Steve Skogman, Margaret Soyring, and Jerry Kujala, Planning and Zoning Administrator. Absent Barb Fivecoate.

Motion by Techer and supported by Johnston to approve the minutes of the July 23, 2018 meeting as presented.

Motion carried. Fivecoate absent.

Motion by Johnston and supported by Techar to schedule a public hearing for a Conditional Use Permit by Anthony Mason to construct an indoor/outdoor shooting range in an industrial zoned parcel on Mineral Avenue, Mountain Iron, MN. Motion carried. Fivecoate absent.

The Commission continued Ordinance review and scheduled the next review meeting for September 10. 2018

Motion to adjourn at 7:10 by Soyring and supported by Erickson. Motion carried. Fivecoate absent.
