Mountain Iron Planning and Zoning Commission
July 22, 2019
Meeting was called to order at 6:55 p.m. by Acting Chairman Jim Techar.
Those Present: Jim Techar, Steve Erickson, Margaret Soyring, Barb Fivecoate and Jerry Kujala, Planning and Zoning Administrator. Tim Johnston and Steve Skogman Absent.
Moved by Fivecoate, supported by Soyring to approve the Consent Agenda. Motion carried with Johnston and Skogman Absent.
Moved by Soyring, supported by Fivecoate to approve the June 10, 2019 minutes. Motion carried with Johnston and Skogman Absent.
Jerry Kujala reported that the party in Unity II that needs to apply a hard surface to the driveway had talked to Administrator Wainio about the matter, but Jerry was not informed of this.
Motion by Fivecoate, supported by Erickson to revise the description of the property listed in the June 10, 2019 public hearing as follows:
Lot 00008, EXCEPT the W 39 feet thereof, in block 005, Merritt’s 1st Addition to Mountain Iron

Motion by Fivecoate, supported by Soyring to table the Apartment Zoning Request until additional information is made available as to what the adjacent parcels are zoned and an updated zoning map is provided for the Council Chambers. Motion carried with Johnston and Skogman Absent.
Moved by Soyring, supported by Erickson to adjourn the meeting at 7:30 p.m. Motion carried with Johnston and Skogman Absent.
