Mountain Iron Economic Development Authority

Meeting Minutes

July 19, 2017

A meeting of the Mountain Iron Economic Development Authority was called to order by Barb Fivecoate at 5:35 p.m. with the following members present: Andrea Wilson, Bob Voss, Peter Zattoni, Barb Fivecoat, Mary Jacobsen, Sue Tuomela and Al Stanaway.  Absent members: None.  Also present: Executive Director, Craig Wainio and Gary Cerkvenik.

Voss moved and Wilson seconded to approve the consent agenda.  Motion carried 7-0 on a roll call vote.

Cerkvenik updated the board on the potential convention center, Heliene lease agreement, workforce housing and sweetwater.

Wainio discussed what is the status of the woodland estates and discussions with Rockie.

Jacobsen move and Stanaway seconded to accept the 2016 Audit.  Motion carried unanimously.

Voss moved and Jacobsen supported to adjourn the meeting at 5:57 p.m.  Motion carried unanimously.
