Mountain Iron Planning and Zoning Commission

July 9, 2018

Meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Chairman Steve Skogman.

Those Present: Jim Techar, Barb Fivecoate, Steve Erickson, Tim Johnston, Steve Skogman, Margaret Soyring, and Jerry Kujala, Planning and Zoning Administrator.

Motion by Skogman and supported by Johnston to approve the minutes of the June 25, 2018 meeting as presented. Motion carried.

Kujala reported that signs are popping up around Mt. Iron that are illegal. He called the responsible parties and told them to remove them.

There was no other business since the public hearing scheduled for July 9 was changed to July 23 because of the time factor for the notice being published.

The Commission proceeded to start reviewing the Ordinances. Upon reviewing the flood plain ordinance it was noticed that an Official Flood Plain District Map needs to be posed in the City Hall and on the City Website.

Motion to adjourn at 7:15 by Fivecoate and supported by Techar. Motion carried.
