Mountain Iron Economic Development Authority

Meeting Minutes

June 21, 2017

A meeting of the Mountain Iron Economic Development Authority was called to order by Barb Fivecoate at 5:35 p.m. with the following members present: Andrea Wilson, Bob Voss, Peter Zattoni, Barb Fivecoat, Sue Tuomela and Al Stanaway.  Absent members: Mary Jacobsen.  Also present: Executive Director, Craig Wainio.

Zattoni moved and Voss seconded to approve the consent agenda.  Motion carried 6-0 on a roll call vote.

Wainio discussed what is the status of the solar plant, updates on rock ridge, contacts with Edwards oil, construction projects and beverage plant.

During open discussion Woodland Estates sign, Quad Cities arena and Hotel Rooms were discussed.

Voss moved and Wilson supported to adjourn the meeting at 5:47 p.m.  Motion carried unanimously.
