Mountain Iron Economic Development Authority

Meeting Minutes

April 19, 2017

A meeting of the Mountain Iron Economic Development Authority was called to order by Barb Fivecoate at 5:30 p.m. with the following members present: Mary Jacobsen, Peter Zattoni, Barb Fivecoat, Sue Tuomela and Al Stanaway.  Absent members: Andrea Wilson and Bob Voss.  Also present: Executive Director, Craig Wainio.

Tuomela moved and Zattoni seconded to approve the consent agenda.  Motion carried 5-0 on a roll call vote.

Tuomela moved and Jacobsen seconded to approve the equipment purchase agreement with silicon energy. Motion carried 5-0.

Jacobsen moves and Tuomela supported to enter into the lease agreement with Heliene Solar for the former Silicon Energy facility.  Motion carried 5-0.

During open discussion Woodland Estates sign, street signs and brochures were discussed as well as a summer meeting schedule.

Jacobsen moved and Fivecoate supported to adjourn the meeting at 6:04 p.m.  Motion carried unanimously.
