Mountain Iron Economic Development Authority

Meeting Minutes

April 9, 2024

A meeting of the Mountain Iron Economic Development Authority was called to order by Barb Fivecoate at 5:02 p.m. with the following members present: Peggy Anderson, Corey Nelson, Alan Johnson, Julie Buria, Kim Koebensky, Barb Fivecoate and Brad Gustafson.  Absent members: None.  Also present: Executive Director, Craig Wainio.

Gustafson moved and Johnson seconded to approve the consent agenda.  Motion carried 7-0 on a roll call vote.

Viking Coke, TIF Resolutions and Development Agreements, Enterprise Drive Northeast and Superior Fuel was discussed. 

Kootasca and Tapestry housing developments where discussed along with the TIF that is being proposed for the site.

Age friendly community was discussed and the board was updated.  Brad to invite Georgia to Senior Group.

Buria moved and Johnson seconded to adjourn the meeting at 5:20 p.m.  Motion carried unanimously.
