MINUTES

MOUNTAIN IRON PUBLIC SAFETY & HEALTH BOARD

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 28, 2018   6:30 p.m.

The meeting was called to order at 6:32 p.m. by Chairman Al Stanaway.  Members present were Al Stanaway, Steve L. Hunter, Steve Skogman and Margaret Soyring. Absent: Margaret Ratai.  Also present were Fire Chief Knapper, Sgt Backman and City Administrator Wainio.

Hunter moved and Soyring supported to approve the minutes of the February 28, 2018 meeting.  Motion carried unanimously.

Skogman moved and Soyring seconded to approve the Private Hydrant Ordinance.  Motion carried 4-0.

First responders to conduct an inventory of AED’s,

Ordinance review for the next meeting.

Plaza 53 parking lot was discussed, recommended that Judy seek legal counsel.

Fire Department inventory being done, Fire Department Budget to the Board, fire service study is under way, billing for accidents was discussed and turnout gear extractor were discussed.

Motion by Skogman and supported by Hunter to adjourn the meeting at 7:13 p.m.  Motion carried unanimously.  Meeting adjourned.
