Public Safety & Health Board Meeting

Wednesday, February 26, 2019

Minutes

 The meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m.

Present: Chairman Al Stanaway, Steve Hunter, Margaret Soyring, Steve Skogman, Mt. Iron Fire Dept. Safety Officer Justin Blazewicz

Absent: Margaret Ratai

Moved by Skogman, supported by Hunter that Minutes of the February 6, 2019 meeting be approved as presented.

Motion Carried. Ratai absent

Fire Department Report: Chief Gerry Knapper was teaching a safety class, so there was no report.

Exhaust Ventilation System and Emergency Generation were tabled until the next meeting when someone from the fire department can address these items.

Emergency Management Ordinance will be discussed at the next ordinance review meeting.

There was no information on the Fire Department Officer appointments.

After a discussion about the McGrath Report, it was decided to set a meeting date to go over the study. Stanaway said he would set up a date and time.

Motion to adjourn at 6:55 p.m. by Skogman, supported by Soyring.

Motion Carried. Ratai absent.
