PARK AND RECREATION MEETING

Wednesday, February 15, 2017

5:30 PM

The meeting was called to order by Jerry Kujala at 5:30 p.m.   Board members present: Natalie Pankratz-Leff, Jerry Kujala, Steve Hunter, Joe Prebeg and Tara LaMourea.   Absent: Jerry Golobich and Dennis Benz.  Also present were Craig Wainio, City Administrator and Sally Yuccas, Library Director.

Prebeg moved and Leff seconded to approve the minutes from the October 26, 2016 meeting.  Motion carried 5-0.

Tara LaMourea was introduced as the newest board member.

Prebeg moved and Lamourea seconded to adopt the updated fee schedule for the West Two Rivers Campground and to carry over the alcohol policy from the previous policy.  Motion carried 5-0.

The proposed archery facility was discussed, Sally discussed Merritt Days, Mish-Mash-Mush, condition of the rinks Easter egg hunt and possible fitness program.

LaMourea moved and Prebeg seconded to install LED lights for the skating rink in South Grove.  Motion carried 5-0.

It was moved by Prebeg and Leff supported by to adjourn at 6:35 p.m.  Motion carried unanimously.
