ORDINANCE NUMBER 02-97
AMENDING THE TRI-CITIES SLUDGE DISPOSAL AUTHORITY ORDINANCE OF THE CITIES OF EVELETH, MOUNTAIN IRON AND GILBERT
THE CITY OF MOUNTAIN IRON DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION 1. Tri-Cities Sludge Disposal Authority has been established pursuant to the following ordinances:
- City of Eveleth – Ordinance 168, amended by Ordinance 176.
- City of Gilbert – Ordinance 1-81, amended by Ordinance 1-83.
- City of Mountain Iron – Ordinance 33.
The city council does hereby amend the title of the authority and the ordinance to Tri-Cities Biosolids Disposal Authority.
SECTION 2. All references to “sludge” in the referenced ordinances shall be replaced by the word “biosolids”.
SECTION 3. Except as amended by this Ordinance the referenced ordinances establishing Tri-Cities Biosolids Disposal Authority shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication in all participating municipalities.
DULY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL THIS 15th DAY OF DECEMBER, 1997.
