Mountain Iron Planning and Zoning Commission

January 13,2019

 Meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by Chairman Steve Skogman.

Those Present:  Steve Skogman, Steve Erickson, Margaret Soyring, and Jerry Kujala, Zoning Administrator. Absent members: Jim Techar, Barb Fivecoate and Tim Johnston.

It was moved by Skogman and supported by Erickson to approve the minutes of the December 9, 2019 meeting.

The motion carried with Techar, Fivecoate and Johnston absent.

Zoning Administrator Kujala reported that he still has not received any response from the illegal shipping containers and structure and firepit. He will follow up on these.

The Commission will discuss the Solar Development once all the information is sent to them.

There was a discussion on getting agendas for meetings in a timely matter. Members did not get their agendas until January 13 and some did not receive theirs. It can cause a problem with having a quorum. Skogman said he will bring it up at the next City Council Meeting.

It was moved by Erickson and supported by Soyring to adjourn the meeting at 7:05 p.m. The motion carried Techar, Fivecoate and Johnston absent.
