Regular Meeting Minutes
September 2, 2015
A meeting of the Mountain Iron Economic Development Authority was called to order by Tony Zupancich at 5:35 p.m. with the following members present: Tony Zupancich, Mary Jacobsen, Barb Fivecoate, Sue Tuomela, Bob Voss and Andrea Wilson. Absent members: Jeremy Jesch. Also present: Executive Director, Craig Wainio and Gary Cerkvenik.
Tuomela moved and Fivecoate seconded to approve the consent agenda. Motion carried 5-0 on a roll call vote.
Voss entered the meeting at 5:40 p.m.
Fivecoate moved and Jacobsen seconded to seek fund for the correction of the soils at West Rock Ridge. Motion carried 6-0.
Wainio updated the Board on the project we are working with the IRRRB to develop. The County Road 7 housing development was discussed concerning wetlands and IRRRB funding.
Fivecoate moved and Voss seconded to approve the Braun Intertech proposal to conduct soil borings for the area south of the City Garage. Motion carried 6-0.
Wilson left the meeting at 5:55 p.m.
Tuomela moved and Jacobsen supported to adjourn the meeting at 6:01 p.m. Motion carried unanimously.
