Regular Meeting Minutes

November 19, 2013

A meeting of the Mountain Iron Economic Development Authority was called to order by Tony Zupancich, at 5:30 p.m. with the following members present:  Mary Jacobsen, Tony Zupancich, Jeremy Jesch, Bob Voss, Sue Tuomela, Andrea Wilson and Barb Fivecoate.  Absent members: None.  Also present: Executive Director, Craig Wainio.

Fivecoate moved and Tuomela seconded to approve the consent agenda.  Motion carried 7-0 on a roll call vote.

Wainio updated Board on Corps of Engineers, U S Steel, County 102, Silicon Energy Awning, South Forest Grove gas main.

Board discussed the development concept along County Road 7.  Zupancich moved and Fivecoate supported to have Benchmark develop 3 possible layouts for the site with up ½ acre lots.  Motion carried 7-0.  The Board also discussed wetlands credits, style of homes and that they would like to have Eric Fallstrom come to a meeting once the concepts are finished.

Tuomela moved and Fivecoate supported to adjourn the meeting at 6:10.  Motion carried unanimously.
