Regular Meeting Minutes
March 19, 2014
A meeting of the Mountain Iron Economic Development Authority was called to order by Tony Zupancich at 5:30 p.m. with the following members present: Mary Jacobsen, Jeremy Jesch, Bob Voss, Tony Zupancich, Sue Tuomela, Andrea Wilson and Barb Fivecoate. Absent members: None. Also present: Executive Director, Craig Wainio.
Fivecoate moved and Voss seconded to approve the consent agenda. Motion carried 7-0 on a roll call vote.
Jacobsen moved and Fivecoate seconded to adopt Resolution Number 01-14 Declaration. Motion carried unanimously.
Voss moved and Tuomela seconded to approve the roadway preparation permit. Motion carried unanimously.
Fivecoate moved and Voss seconded to approve the three easements concerning the County Road 102 project. Motion carried unanimously.
Tuomela moved and Fivecoate seconded to approve the consent to land lease regarding the embarrass mountain lease and the County radio tower. Motion carried unanimously.
The board discussed the status of the negotiations between USS and Rockie and also discussed the property to the west of Rock Ridge.
Tuomela moved and Fivecoate supported to adjourn the meeting at 5:53. Motion carried unanimously.
