March 16, 2005

Larry P. Johnson called the Economic Developmçnt Authority meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. with the following members present: Larry P. Johnson, Anthony Zupancich, Dale Irish, Alan Nelson and Mary Jacobsen. Also present was Craig J. Wainio.

A motion was made by Tony Zupancich and supported by Dale Irish to approve the minutes of the February l6h, 2005, meeting. The motion was approved unanimously.

A motion was made by Alan Nelson and Supported by Tony Zupancich to table any action on the option agreement with Birchem Logging until the authority has time to review the option agreement and until such time a representative from Birchem Logging can meet with the authority. The motion passed unanimously.

A motion was made by Tony Zupancich and supported by Alan Nelson to approve the Subordination Agreement with Precision Testing, Inc. The motion passed unanimously.

The authority reviewed resumes for the position of Economic Development Director. A motion was made by Tony Zupancich and supported by Dale Irish that the two finalists, Gary Cerkvenik and Mark Phillips, be scheduled to interview with the authority at the next meeting. Motion passed with Alan Nelson voting against.

A motion was made by Mary Jacobsen and supported by Tony Zupaneich that the bills to the Trenti Law Firm and the Mesabi Daily News be paid. Passed unanimously.

A discussion was held regarding JobZ qualifications.

Dale Irish made a motion to adjourn the meeting with Tony Zupancich supporting. The meeting was adjourned at 6:35 p.m.
