Mountain Iron Economic Development Authority Meeting
June 20, 2007

A meeting of the Mountain Iron Economic Development Authority was called to order by President Tony Zupancich at 5:30 p.m. with the following members present: Allen Nelson, Andrea Wilson, Bob Voss, Barb Fivecoate, Mary Jacobsen and Alan Stanaway. Also present was Executive Director, Craig J. Wainio.

Consent Agenda: A motion was made by Barb Fivecoate and supported by Bob Voss to approve the minutes of the May 2, 2007 meeting and to pay the bills in the amount of $5,620.94 as presented. The motion passed unanimously by roll call vote. 

Public Forum: Jennifer Pontinen of the Quad Cities Small Business Development Center addressed the authority on economic development and existing business services which the center offers. 

Committee/Staff Reports: 
Craig Wainio informed the authority that the Park Ridge Right of Way continues progress with MNDOT. 

A motion was made by Mary Jacobsen and supported by Barb Fivecoate to adopt resolution No. 05-07 extending the Mountain Timber Closing Date due to title problems.
Motion passed unanimously.

Unfinished Business:
A question was asked regarding the college cleaning the roadway along Park Ridge. Allen Nelson stated that it has been cleaned up.

A motion was made by Allen Nelson and supported by Alan Stanaway to adjourn the meeting. Motion passed unanimously.

The meeting was adjourned at 5:57 p.m.
