Economic Development Authority Meeting Minutes for July 20, 2005

Regular Meeting Minutes

July 20, 2005

A meeting of the Mountain Iron Economic Development Authority was called to order by vice president Tony Zupancich at 6:00 p.m. with the following members present: Tony Zupancich , Mary Jacobsen, Alan Nelson, Dale Irish, Jason Goehring, and Andrea Wilson . Absent: Barb Fivecoat Also present was Executive Director, Craig J. Wainio, 

Justin Skalko, who was scheduled to do a presentation to the authority, was unable to attend and will be scheduled for the next meeting. 

A proposed land sale for a portion of the Parkville Industrial Park was presented. 

A motion was made by Jason Goehring and supported by Mary Jacobsen to sell Radovich Trucking the parcel requested with the price per the EDA formula provided that a completed and acceptable development agreement according to the presented specifications be provided by Gail Radovich . Motion passed unanimously.

A motion was made by Dale Irish and supported by Jason Goehring to nominate Tony Zupancich as president of the EDA. Motion passed unanimously.

A motion was made by Alan Nelson and Supported by Mary Jacobsen that Barb Fivecoat be nominated to the position of Vice President/Treasurer. Motion passed unanimously.

A motion was made by Jason Goehring and supported by Alan Nelson to approve payment of the bills. The motion passed unanimously by roll call vote.

A motion was made by Dale Iron and supported by Jason Goehring that the EDA keep records on all costs associated with the development of Precision Testing, Birchem Logging and all future developments. Motion passed unanimously. 

A motion was made by Jason Goehring and supported by Mary Jacobsen that the meeting be adjourned. Motion passed unanimously. 

The meeting was adjourned at 6:35 p.m.
