Regular Meeting Minutes
December 17, 2014
A meeting of the Mountain Iron Economic Development Authority was called to order by Tony Zupancich at 5:30 p.m. with the following members present: Mary Jacobsen, Bob Voss, Tony Zupancich, Barb Fivecoate, Sue Tuomela and Andrea Wilson. Absent members: Jeremy Jesch. Also present: Executive Director, Craig Wainio.
Voss moved and Fivecoate seconded to approve the consent agenda. Motion carried 6-0 on a roll call vote.
Wainio updated the Board on the status of the US Steel/GE building, Silicon Energy loan, housing project, meeting with IRRRB, brewery and hotel plans.
Tuomela moved and Fivecoate supported to approve the non-audit services letter. Motion carried unanimously.
Fivecoate moved and Jacobsen seconded to authorize soil borings for the property west of Rock Ridge. Motion carried unanimously.
Open discussion concerning the Lee Anderson project, State Farm and a housing meeting.
Fivecoate moved and Voss supported to adjourn the meeting at 5:55. Motion carried unanimously.
