Regular Meeting Minutes

December 7, 2005

A meeting of the Mountain Iron Economic Development Authority was called to order by President Tony Zupanich at 5:30 p.m. with the following members present: Andrea Wilson, Bob Voss, Barb Fivecoate, Dale Irish and Mary Jacobsen. Also present was Executive Director, Craig J. Wainio.

A motion was made by Barb Fivecoate and supported by Bob Voss to recommend to the city council that a transfer of .84 acres be made from the current Job Z zone in the Northeast Industrial park to an .84 acre site just north of the UPS building. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Mary Jacobsen and supported by Barb Fivecoate to recommend to the city council that, due to incomplete title work, the closing date of the Mountain Timber land purchase be extended until December 30, 2005. Motion carried.

Craig Wainio reported on economic development inquiries which have occurred since the last meeting. 

A motion was made by Barb Fivecoate and supported by Dale Irish to approve the November 2, 2005 meeting minutes. Motion carried. 

A motion was made by Mary Jacobsen and supported by Dale Irish to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried.
