Regular Meeting Minutes

August 6, 2014

A meeting of the Mountain Iron Economic Development Authority was called to order by Tony Zupancich at 5:36 p.m. with the following members present:  Barb Fivecoate, Tony Zupancich, Sue Tuomela and Andrea Wilson.  Absent members: Mary Jacobsen, Bob Voss and Jeremy Jesch.  Also present: Executive Director, Craig Wainio.

Tuomela moved and Fivecoate seconded to approve the consent agenda.  Motion carried 4-0 on a roll call vote.

Wainio update the Board on Wal-Mart, housing development, Anytime Fitness and County Road 102.

Fivecoate moved and Wilson supported to approve the 2013 Audit.  Motion carried unanimously.

The Board discussed the condition and status of the Plaza 53 building, Benchmarks plan for west of Rock Ridge, make contact with Kohls and TIF for Rockie.

Wilson moved and Fivecoate supported to adjourn the meeting at 6:10.  Motion carried unanimously.
